About the event
Friday the 18th - boats launch and find their mooring, possible shakedown excursion.
Bikes will be leaving at 1.30pm from Pelican Shores Cafe for a short shakedown and visit to Graham Sawyers garage, return to Sussex inlet. 4.00pm meet at the Swordfish Brewery at the river end of Jacobs Drive. 6.00pm dinner at the Swordfish Brewery.
Saturday the 19th - Boats and bikes will meet at the Pelican Cafe at 9.00am for technical talks. Bikes will ride to the fleet air arm museum. Boats will be exploring Sussex and St Georges Basin and return for lunch, (Pelican Shores or a number of eateries in Sussex). On the bikes' return the will be displayed at the rear of Pelican Shores Cafe. The bike folk can join the boats and enjoy a boating trip around Sussex and maybe into St Georges Basin. 4.30pm pre dinner drinks at the bowling club, 5.30pm dinner at the bowling club.
Sunday the 20th - 9.00am bikes and boats gather at Pelican Shores. Bikes will have a gymkhana at the 'fire break' off The Springs Rd. Boats will have their own gymkhana on the water in front of the bowling club. Lunchtime pack up and start heading home.
Accommodation will be based at Seacrest Caravan Park (ph 02 4441 2333), they have a number of very nice waterfront cabins and camping available.
