About the event

Every May for over 25 years the Bribie Classic Boat Regatta takes place on the Pumicestone Passage at Bribie Island.

We look forward to welcoming you in 2024 at the 25th annual Classic Boat Regatta – 24th, 25th and 26th May.

The beautiful island of Bribie celebrates a rich and bountiful maritime history within the backdrop of a post-card perfect coastline and hinterland.

By staging this event, BACE Inc. showcases the beauty and skill of classic boating putting the spotlight to tourism in our region.

The pristine beauty of the blue velvet waters of the Pumicestone Passage of Queensland’s Moreton Bay region is our beautiful natural stage, ready and set for your enjoyment and healthy recreation.

Located about an hour north of Brisbane, the ‘Passage’ is a perfect runway for these classic maritime models. The Bribie Classic Boat Regatta is the local way to express a laid-back Queensland lifestyle and tells a story about the rich maritime environment and heritage that we are proud to share.

With over 90 boats registered in 2023, a significant increase in registrations, we welcomed our ‘Boatie’ buddies to a wonderful weekend. More than 600 people voted for the “Peoples Choice Award” and many thousands witnessed the displays of Classic boats, Classic Cars and Moder Boats while enjoying the carnival atmosphere.

Over 180 attended the Annual Dinner and Trophy presentation at Bribie’s award winning RSL on the Saturday night .

Save the date!   25th annual Classic Boat Regatta – 24th, 25th and 26th May.    See you there!
