The Mary is an original 1910 steam boat built by Archie White near the Hawkesbury River. The hull is constructed of Kauri Pine, a batten seam carvel which has since been fiber glassed over. The old girl was named after the builder's grand daughter. The steamer has had a varied career, being used to deliver mail, a milk run, a prawner, then pressed into the Navy.
Hull dimensions: length 24', beam 8', draft 2'6". The engine is not original but is in good condition, the boiler has been stored open and dry. The boat has always been stored under cover. It has been a while since she has been in the water, so expect some leakage as the timbers expand
