I am told the hull was built for the movie Gallipoli and the boiler was a WW2 army cook's boiler. The origin of the engine is less clear but it might have been a coastal steamer's deck winch engine.
25'6" fiberglass hull, beam 7', draft 2'. She has a modified Wiles water tube boiler with a working pressure of 100psi. Engine is 3.75" x 6" single cylinder slide valve with slip eccentric reverse. Fitted with a forward and aft helm, a condensing oiler and a Windemere kettle. Includes two spare single note whistles, cylinder oil and boiler water tannin. Boiler inspection valid until March 2027, on registered trailer with extendable draw bar, hydraulic disc brakes and Anderson anti-sway weight distribution hitch.
The boat is located in the Adelaide Hills.
